How is Heidi different from Glean and enterprise search?

Enterprise search finds documents. Heidi answers questions and does work. The Cortex is a curated, typed memory with sources and permissions, not a search index, and it powers agents, jobs, and an MCP surface, not just a search box.

Search returns ten links and leaves the synthesis to you. Heidi returns the answer, with the receipts, because her memory stores consolidated facts and their relationships rather than raw documents ranked by relevance.
The second difference is action. Search ends at retrieval; Heidi schedules follow-ups, runs agents under earned trust, and serves the same brain to Claude, Cursor, and your scripts over MCP and REST.
